Don’t worry about scouring Ebay to see if any of the Comic Con attendees are willing to part with their free t-shirts, because slusho.jp just updated their website, and you can now go to their Slusho! store to buy Slusho! t-shirts.
There’s an asphalt grey t-shirt and a black t-shirt both for $18.00 (in both men and ladies sizes.) There is also a black baseball cap that’s $22.00.
The other updates include being able to view their Happy Talk and Flavors sections. I included some screenshots (enlarge if you want crisper images.)
Enjoy!
If you want to stay updated with the Myspace blogs that belong to the 1-18-08 cast, you can subscribe to each blog separately. However, if you would like to subscribe to just one feed that pulls in all seven blogs, you can subscribe to [feeds.feedburner.com] (alternatively you can add this syndicated feed: 11808blogs to your livejournal friends list.)
If you do not want to subscribe, but would rather just view on occasion, you can visit feeder.projectcloverfield.com/MyspaceBlogs/. However, do note that the timestamps that are being shown at Feeder are the actual timestamps that these entries were originally created. The dates that are posted at the blogs itself have been edit (backdated) to appear as if though they were posted months upon months ago.
If you’d rather subscribe to each blog separately, a user at livejournal has created separate syndicated accounts, which can be found by viewing LJ Syndication: MySpace Character Blogs.

The Gossip Rag brings you the MySpace Cloverfield profile pages of the group of friends that will most likely be featured in the film:
Don't forget who takes care of you!
Love J
Lascano, Platt and Robbie - Jan 2008
Robbie.
Here, use this photo to send a message of my hotness far and wide!!! I'm gonna miss the hell out of ya!!
Love, Jamie
Thanks to Adam in the comments and projectcloverfield for this, they thought of something that didn’t even cross my mind, probably because I don’t really use MySpace anymore. But it looks like Jamie Lascano, from the most recent picture has a myspace profile, and who are her only friends… thats right, other characters from the movie. Check em out. It looks like they could make these profiles now, then constantly update them with more stuff, pictures, comments back and forth, etc, to make them seem like real people, and then I bet the night the monster attacks some other friends start trying to find out if everyone is ok, via myspace something along those lines. Could be extremely cool, check it out.
There is a riddle on Rob’s comments from Beth “The Lights Go Out, The Man Cries, What Happened?” Any ideas?
I have updated our Cast section to include the 1-18-08 character names, including the age and myspace address.
Character Names
From the latest picture at 1-18-08, when the picture is flipped there's an inscription left from a Jamie, along with three other names on the top.
- Lascano
- Platt
- Robbie
Obviously "Jamie" has just written the order in the pictures, so we now have one full character's name: Jamie Lascano. Since Myspace is all the rage these days, if you decided to venture on over to check to see if she has a profile up there, and low and behold, there is a Jamie Lascano available. But get this, she's also friends with a Rob Hawkins. Coincidence, are perhaps something legitimate? I think so because Beth has a profile which coincides with her appearance in the beginning of the trailer. There is also another picture of Hawk with his girlfriend Lil.
These profiles are all "friends" with each other, so when you're on one, you can just view their friends to see everyone else's. :)

So, looks like something is starting.

A brand spankin’ new picture has been added to the 1-18-08 website. This is the fifth photo to be added to the website since the site has been online. The picture is timestamped 12:04am 1/18/08 which technically mean time is now going backwards in the sequence of images! What a mind f*ck! Anyways, check it.
Supposedly this is the MySpace profile page of the girl (Jamie Lascano) in the picture, also part of the integrated viral marketing campaign. Her profile links to the rest of her friends profiles, also people I assume will be in the Cloverfield / 1-18-08 film! Very cool marketing concept.
** Update: I was able to flip the image over. This is what appears on the reverse side of the image on the 1-18-08 website.

cliomuse - 2 of the pictures have backs.

As I posted in the last post, there is a new picture on 1-18-08, check it out in the previous post, but with the new picture came some new functions on the site. You can now flip over the pictures to see the backs. Only 2 of them have writing on them, and they are obviously the two from the going away party. I posted the front and back of the latest photo in the previous post so I’m not going to post it again, but here is the other one that has writing on it. Enjoy.

Check it out, new picture on www.1-18-08.com. Let us know what you find besides the fact that it would be the 2nd image in chronological order of pictures. The title of the page also seems to have changed to just “–” and the name of the actual swf (flash) file has changed from photos.swf to photos_8.swf.
YOU CAN FLIP THEM OVER NOW! Thanks for the comments guys, my Mac here is a little strange sometimes and I didn’t notice you could flip them. The only thing I can see on the back of this one is that we have a character on the left named Jamie Lascano…

Question: does anyone else notice the 1-18-08 site acting a little differently now? Like it’s getting cluttered with pictures and they seem to be attaching to each other as they move, and you cant bring older ones forward anymore? It could just be me…
I think I found the camera in the picture, I believe it’s the Panasonic HDC-SD1, what do you think, same markings…

The flash has been updated a bit to add more features like with the latest photo–You can “flip” it to read the inscription on the back of it:
Robbie,
Here, use this photo to send a message of my hotness far and wide!!!
Im gonna miss the hell out of ya!!
Love, Jamie
To get it to flip, just click and hold onto the photo then move your mouse in a circular fashion. Two of the photos have inscriptions thus far (12:01am and 12:04am). I just find it odd that these photos would have inscriptions on them already, unless they’re taking them with a digital camera, and printing them off immediately.

AICN is reporting that the title for JJ Abrams upcoming top secret monster flick (currently code-named Cloverfield or 1-18-08) might be Colossus. No official confirmation. Paramount released a limited edition set of four teaser posters at comic-con. Each poster shows the same headless statue of liberty picture. What’s different is the wording on the top of the poster: Monstrous, Barbarous, Furious and Terrifying. The images above courtesy of CC.
If you live in the Washington D.C. area you probably listen to “Elliot In the Morning” on D.C. 101. If you do, you may have heard an odd caller on Tuesday morning. He was calling from California telling Elliot that he was sending photos in to him and the show with Speilberg with one of the Slusho t-shirts. Why does this matter you ask…
The caller (who never identified himself on air) went on to say that he would be sending similar pictures with Will Smith (I Am Legend) and J.J. Abrams. When asked what he was doing in California and how he had access to all of these people, he went on to tell Elliot that he worked with all of them in advertising, and more specifically ‘viral marketing.’ Elliot immediately asked about 1-18-08, and the caller went on to say that was why he was meeting with JJ. He said he worked on the Lost Experience and was now working on this campaign. His next comments were the most interesting: “No movie has ever been made like this. The six months leading up to the move are as important, if not more important, and the movie wraps everything up!”
(I cleaned the post up because I couldn’t handle all of the grammatical errors, and various other oddities that were present.)
Well, looky what we’ve got here!
JJ Abrams announced at Comic-Con that there is “a series of four posters” for Cloverfield. Each one has a different tag line - MONSTROUS, FURIOUS, TERRIFYING, and BARBAROUS(?). Collect all Four! Trade with Friends! I WANT!
I noticed there is a Bad Robot logo on the bottom left corner of the new poster!
Thanks to High Voltage Media for the FURIOUS image! : TERRIFYING poster available for sale on eBay

A little late in the game, but hey, I have to sleep sometime… and I’m getting sick, in the summer? -goes back to sleep-

According to Harry Knowles over at aintitcool.com there are going to be 3 teaser posters each with a different tagline at the top, “Monstrous, Barbarous, Ferocious and Colossus” and the 4 being the title. The only problem with this is that the posters they gave away at Comic-Con are starting to show up on ebay and currently have the tagline “Terrifying” and “Furious” so how come those weren’t on Harry’s list? I think someone is messing with Harry to get fake info out there and confuse people even more, but I have no idea.
And of course terrifyingmovie.com, thefuriousmovie.com and furiousmovie.com have all been registered by Paramount (which you can see after the jump). However it looks like theterrifyingmovie.com has been taken but the whois hasn’t been updated, I think it’s safe to say Paramount owns it.
Barbarousmovie.com and ferociousmovie.com and those last two with the word “the” in front, have not been registered at all, so I highly doubt those are the terms going to be used on the posters, but who knows. And colossusmovie.com is registered to some guy named John Dwight in Hollywood and thecolossusmovie.com doesn’t have a working whois yet.
If anyone has the other 2 posters take a picture and let us know!
